Miguel took to twitter to controversially vent his frustrations with his own culture, allegedly in response to a fan's tweet indicating the singer had sold his soul.

Miguel has been doing pretty well for himself as of late. The R&B singer released his critically acclaimed sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream last year, and has since won a Grammy for the project, collaborated with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Mariah Carey, and has most recently been the subject of his very own meme after (un)fortunately leg dropping a fan at the Billboard awards.

With this kind of success, Miguel has reached a status where he can go on controversial rants whenever he feels like it. The "Adorn" singer has done just that, as he took to twitter this weekend to express frustration with black culture, which he stresses is more judgmental and critical than any other group.

The singer who is of both African-American and Mexican-American decent was allegedly responding to a tweet from a fan indicating that the singer had sold his soul. Miguel apparently replied directly to the fan before launching into the rant, tweeting "Don't be an idiot," at him, but the tweets have since been deleted.
