MackWop is hellbent on making that J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar album happen.

Insofar as unrequited hip-hop wishes go, many fans hold a Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole collaboration album in high regard. The project has undergone various status updates, with rumor of its conception strengthening and waning with the lunar' cycle's consistency. Still, many choose to remain optimistic, as both Kendrick, Cole, and their respective teams have remained open to the idea. Now, it would appear that TDE affiliate MackWop, who serves as the label's tour DJ, has decided to take matters into his own hands.

A while ago, Wop uploaded a video titled "IM GONNA PUT OUT A NEW KENDRICK LAMAR & J-COLE RECORD IN 2019," explaining that he's the only one capable of "facilitating these verses." At around the twelve-minute mark, Wop explains that he's going to "be the n***a to put out the K.Dot J Cole records." He continues, explaining that "everybody love MackWop."

"If we being honest, I think I'm going to be the one to make it happen," he explains. "They both my n***as, I'm going get it done. So look forward to that, 2019, we speaking it into existence." A few days later, he uploaded a second video, providing an update on the situation; as of January 3rd, Wop had yet to speak with any of the parties involved, but remains hopeful that he can still make the process happen. Of course, it'll have to be in a while to come, as J. Cole will have his hands full quarterbacking the upcoming Revenge Of The Dreamers 3 album.

In MackWop we trust!
