French Montana is leaving Brick City behind.

French Montana is a newly minted American citizen, and is celebrating his milestone by ditching the New Jersey suburbs for sunnier pastures. His mansion in the Pequannock Township just outside of New York is valued well over the $995,000 he paid five years ago. Montana is hoping to recuperate a handsome return on his investment, in the area of $1.4 million.

The space is made up of 6 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms spanning a distance of 6,134 square feet. It comes stocked with a bar on the 3rd floor, adjacent to a sound-proof recording studio and theatre-style screening room. His backyard is nothing to balk at either. It arrives on the real estate market complete with up-to-the-minute landscaping and flower beds, a half court basketball court, and an in-ground swimming pool.

The move suggests French Montana is looking to relocate to the Los Angeles on a more permanent basis. His Calabasas cost him in excess of $3.3 million, a price he was able to widdle down $150k under market value. Incidentally, his Los Angeles is much smaller, and therefore better suited to his bachelor lifestyle. French Montana has certainly paid his dues in the Rotten Manzana. Hopefully he returns in time to usher in the next Coke Wave with Max B, when he breaks out of jail on good behaviour.
