"I think I'm sensing that he's in a good place. I really do."

Now that Tina Turner is retired and living in Switzerland, she's more open than ever to detail her life and all the highs and lows that came with it. We previously posted about her autobiography, My Love Story and the passages that explain the abusive marriage she had to Ike Turner. "I couldn’t remember what it was like not to have a black eye. The people closest to us saw what was happening, but they couldn’t stop him: any attempt to help me would make him more violent," she wrote.

During a recent press tour talking about her book, Tina opened up about a more recent tragedy - her son taking his life this past July. Fifty-nine-year-old Craig Turner was pronounced dead at his Studio City, California after shooting himself. "I think Craig was lonely, that's what I think really got him more than anything else. I have pictures all around of him smiling, and I think I'm sensing that he's in a good place. I really do," Tina told CBS.

Tina's book is now available in stores and online.
