Today marks Demi Lovato's 26th birthday and her family is feeling grateful that the singer is here to receive hugs, gifts and well wishes. As we know, a few weeks ago Demi was found unresponsive from a drug overdose and had to cancel all upcoming tour stops to make her way into rehab after she was released from the hospital.
Her younger sister Madison De La Garza, shared an image on Instagram with a caption detailing how thankful she is that her big sister is still with her today. "Today could have been one of the worst days of my life, but instead i get to spend it thanking God, the incredible doctors, demi's team, and everyone across the world who offered their support - without all of these people i wouldn't have my big sister anymore," she captioned the photo.
The caption further details the little things Madison loves about Demi the most. "She's a daughter, a friend, and my big sister... and i am so, so thankful that i can tell her happy birthday," she ended the note.
