A$AP Rocky's been teasing his forthcoming album as far back as last summer. After the rapper and the rest of the Mob unleashed a whole lot of music for AWGEST, Rocky confirmed that every member of A$AP Mob would be releasing a new project by the end of 2017. Clearly, that wasn't the case and fans have been eager to hear what exactly Rocky's been cooking up. Yesterday, the rapper shared the official album art to his project during his "Lab Rat" live performance art piece in New York City. Shortly after, we have a release date for the rapper's new album, Testing.

The wait is finally over. A$AP Rocky season has arrived with his new album, Testing, expected to drop this coming Friday. The rapper took to Instagram to share a photo with the caption simply reading, "525" which is May 25th. It seems like the rapper decided to opt out of giving an advance notice on the album's release and build the anticipation in less than a week. It was later confirmed by Complex who just dropped their cover story on Rocky earlier today. In addition, Tyler The Creator slid in the comments to see if the album was dropping on Friday.

It's exciting to know that he'll finally be dropping an album. The rapper kicked off the campaign by releasing "Bad Company" with Blocboy JB and premiered "A$AP Forever" and "Distorted Records." Maybe we'll end up getting one more cut from him before Friday.
