Cannon is headed to late night television.

Nick Cannon is a busy man. Besides producing several projects including his own Wild'n Out series, Cannon is now in talks with Fox to helm a late night talk show. As reported by The Hollywood ReporterFox is looking to enter the late night game. Disney is scooping up 21st Century Fox, but not all of the properties are making the jump. Fox network, Fox Sports, Fox News, and Fox Business Network cable channels will all remain independent under a banner named "New Fox." Canon has signed a deal with this New Fox venture, which is attempting to bolster its catalog in the wake of losing the majority of its properties to Disney.

The Talking Dead executive producer Michael Davies and Cannon's longtime manager Michael Goldman are set to produce the talk show. The series will be much like other late night talk shows, which feature celebrity interviews, musical performances, and comedians. The project is still untitled. Fox has attempted to air several late night talk shows in the past to limited success. 1993's The Chevy Chase Show, 1986's The Late Show with Joan Rivers and Arsenio Hall, and 2009's The Wanda Sykes Show were all canceled before surpassing two seasons.
