Scorpion, Drake's upcoming fifth studio album (if we're still calling IYRTITL and More Life a mixtape and a playlist, respectively) is due out in June, but from the looks of things, the rapper's close collaborator Noah "40" Shebib is still putting some finishing touches on the project. The Toronto rapper shared a picture of his go-to producer seemingly doing some late-night tweaks at around 4AM Sunday night. The only context provided is a single Scorpion emoji in the caption, making it clear where 40's current priorities lie.

Assuming he's behind the camera, it seems Drake was also present in the studio. While it's possible the two are in the mastering process, it would be unlike them not to be using every last waking moment to record new material as the deadline approaches. Fortunately, the LP has not been pinned to a specific day but simply the month of June, meaning that they could technically push the release to the 30th if need be.
40 will serve as executive producer on the project alongside OVO co-founder Oliver El-Khatib. Drake has released three songs in advance of the project: "God's Plan," "Nice For What," and "Look Alive" with BlocBoy JB. All three songs rose to the top ten of the Hot 100, with the two solo cuts each debuting at No. 1. Drake also appeared on Lil Baby's new track "Yes Indeed" last week.
