In the wake of Mac Miller's sudden and tragic death, J. Cole has taken to Twitter with an important message for anybody experiencing personal strife. "This is a message for anybody in this game that’s going through something," writes J. Cole. "If you don’t feel right, if you feel you have a substance problem, if you need a ear to vent to. If you uncomfortable talking to people around you. Please reach out to me."

The message is especially poignant given the latest hip-hop tragedy. Mac Miller, who recently dropped off his highly personal Swimming album, was found dead in his home at 26. While details remain scarce, TMZ reports that the talented artist overdosed, and was pronounced dead at the scene. It remains difficult news to process, and fans continue to come to term with the shocking news. It's safe to say that J. Cole's gesture speaks volumes, and the man's character should be applauded.

Rest in peace Mac Miller.
