We're inching closer to MTV's annual Video Music Awards that take place towards the end of the summer. Earlier this month, they announced some of the artists that will be performing at the award show including Ariana Grande and Logic. Today, they've revealed two new additions to the line-up.

The MTV Video Music Awards announced that Travis Scott and Post Malone will be joining their all-star line-up of performers for the evening. Both artists released highly-anticipated projects this year. Travis recently released his highly anticipated third studio album, Astroworld this past Friday which has already gone gold and is expected to dethrone Drake's Scorpion for the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Unfortunately, he wasn't nominated for any awards this year.

Post Malone landed a number one album at the top of this year with his sophomore release, Beerbongs & Bentleys. The project's been sitting at the top five of the Billboard 200 for a minute now. He's also been heavy on the festival circuit over the past few month. Posty's also nominated for two VMA's this year: Artist Of The Year and Song Of The Year for "Rockstar" with 21 Savage.

In addition to Travis Scott and Post Malone, the VMA's have also tapped some other major names to perform. Ariana Grande, Logic, Ryan Tedder Shawn Mendes and Jennfer Lopez will be touching the stage as well.
