The U.K. have nothing but love for Shady.

Revival may not have gone viral, but it seems likely that Eminem's Kamikaze will fare better. At the very least, Em's surprise drop has already been well received by fans, many of which turned their back (albeit partially, for Em fans are among the game's most loyal) on the rapper. While it's refreshing to hear him once again rapping like a man possessed, Kamikaze's success is special for another reason: it provides proof that Em does not need a "radio single" to achieve commercial glory. To be fair, it's entirely possible that he enjoys making songs of that ilk, in which case, more power to him.

A report from Forbes indicates that Kamikaze is soaring straight toward the top spot, thus solidifying Em's overseas reign. The album's rise possibly marks his ninth number one in the UK, proving that his overseas fans have nothing but love for Slim Shady. In fact, considering that Revival is still waiting to go gold, all signs point to one thing: Shady's back. Now, we have yet to receive word on Kamikaze's U.S. sales, but it stands to reason that the project will fare better than its predecessor; do you think Em will end up with another plaque to hang in the back of his office like trophies?
