It's been a minute since we heard from the UK born singer Sampha and we're so happy the dry spell is over. The "Blood On Me" singer has released his latest song titled "Treasure" that comes off the Beautiful Boy soundtrack. The single hears Sampha doing what he does best, singing on top of a beautiful piano ballad about romantic happenings. "Bad habits and good times let's take a risk," he sings.
"I had the honour of writing a new song for a film called “Beautiful Boy” which is out in the US today. It’s called “Treasure” and I hope you enjoy listening x," he wrote on Twitter alongside a video of him playing live.
Last year Sampha released his debut album Process that went on to win the prestigious Mercury Prize and he was also featured on Drake’s More Life. This year has been pretty slow for the singer so we hope this release kick starts more tracks to come soon.
