More Pokemon is coming your way.

Pokemon is a worldwide phenomenon. Fans of the anime have been treated with a mountain of new games, gear, and merchandise over the last year, and it doesn't look like new content will be stopping anytime soon. Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds, will be playing a motion capture role in a live-action Pokemon movie (which sounds like he will be playing a Pokemon himself, which would be hilarious) this year. There will also be an animated Pokemon film debuting this summer, entitled Pokémon The Movie: Everyone’s StoryAs if two new movies weren't enough, Viz Media announced a new Pokemon manga that will launch on May 8.

Manga, or a Japanese comic book, are usually the base for any anime. The manga, entitled Pokémon: Sun & Moon Vol. 1 will see the pocket monsters and their trainers in the same environment as the Pokémon Sun and Moon video game. The synopsis for the series is as follows:

Moon is on her way to deliver a rare Pokémon to Professor Kukui in the Alola region when she meets his good friend Sun, a courier entrusted with a special Pokédex. Sun offers to safely deliver Moon to the professor’s lab… But then they tangle with a group of grunts from Team Skull and are attacked by a mysterious Pokémon!
