Prior to his string of releases back in May, PnB Rock has spent the first half of 2018 lending out features to other artists in the game, including 50 Cent, Lil Yachty & most recently Meek Mill to name a few, but it appears he’s been busy working on a new body of work as well. On Thursday, the Philly crooner took to his IG to announce that he was going to release two new singles off his forthcoming Trapstar Turnt Popstar album at midnight, and alas here they are!
While we already heard the song “Nowadays” last week after an early leak, the second record PnB Rock decides to liberate today is the single “ABCD (Friend Zone).” Take a listen to the Hitmaka-produced single and let us know what you think. Record available on iTunes.
In the single’s press release, it was revealed that Trapstar Turnt Popstar will be a 2-sided effort, with “side A” consisting of 5 songs with a more mainstream, melodic pop sound, while “side B” will be another 5 songs showcasing sounds of his trap origins.” Look for it to be dropping this Fall too.
