The Nike Zoom Hyperflight is going wild with a new “Safari” colorway. Official photos have arrived, and the pair is expected to release this holiday season for $190.
The design borrows the famous Safari print from the Air Safari. A speckled pattern covers most of the soft, molded upper, which gives the futuristic shoe a very different look from earlier Hyperflight colors.
Orange adds the main pop of color. It appears as bright trim and details across the shoe, and it contrasts nicely with the speckled base.
Black shows up on the glossy support structure at the midfoot and on the soft leather collar. A translucent outsole finishes the look. The style code is IZ2573-010. Pairs are expected in men’s sizing through Nike, Foot Locker, and Shiekh.
It is part of a busy run for the model. Nike has brought back the Hyperflight in several colors this year, including a bright "Green Apple" pair that also drops this holiday season.
The Hyperflight is also connected to Jason Williams, who wore it in the early 2000s. That history gives every new color some extra meaning. Overall, the Safari print is a smart match for the shoe’s unusual shape.
Nike Zoom Hyperflight “Safari”
The Safari print goes back to 1987, when it debuted on the Nike Air Safari. Since then, it has appeared on the Air Max 1, Foamposite One, and Nike SB Dunk.
Using it on the Hyperflight is a fresh idea, because the shoe has always been known for its slick, glossy look. The speckled finish gives it a rougher, more outdoorsy feel.
The Hyperflight returned in 2026 for its 25th anniversary, and Nike has went right into it with new colors, player exclusives, and special pairs. Stephen Curry even wore a yellow Hyperflight PE in the tunnel earlier this year.
Overall, the Safari pair adds a bold and different option to the lineup. It should be one of the more interesting holiday releases, we'll have to see if Nike drops more.
