Rick Ross' domestic violence allegations have landed him two misdemeanor charges. However, he escaped a larger felony charge after his original arraignment hearing was delayed. If you remember, he turned himself in after initially being charged with battery by strangulation. This is the felony charge that was ultimately dropped.
Now, Rick Ross is looking to celebrate this legal victory. While taking to social media, the artist gave a shoutout to two of his lawyers. The first of which was Steve Sadow. The second was Bradley Horenstein.
Ross states that his lawyers worked hard at portraying the truth. He also believes that his own followers need to go and follow his legal team in order to show them some love. He then singled out Horenstein for having his "boots on the ground."
Rick Ross Takes To Social Media
“I have to send this out to the number one attorney in the game, Steve Sadow,” Rick Ross explained. “My lead attorney, Steve Sadow, I want to thank you for being who you are, what you are, and always bringing the truth to light. I thank you. Not only is Steve Sadow the number one attorney in the game, but also my very close friend. Big Steve, much love. This is for Bradley Horenstein, a major part of my legal team. Once again, I told you, I had an amazing legal team. Bradley Horenstein, he had his boots on the ground making things happen, connecting all the dots."
Ross' legal woes began when his ex, Jazzma Kendrick, took to social media and alleged that she had been assaulted by the artist. Not long after, a call was made to the police, with Ross being accused of slapping and choking his ex during an argument. Kendrick also accused Ross of busting her lip and posted photos as alleged proof.
The rapper maintains his innocence and has pleaded not guilty to the two misdemeanor charges.
