The most surprising part of this Billboard 200 development is how Drake has had even more albums on the chart at the same time before.

Drake has broken a lot of records this year with his new albums, and even the achievements that don't set a new bar are quite impressive. As caught by Complex Music on Instagram, he boasts a whopping 11 albums on the Billboard 200 chart at the same time.

These are HABIBTI at number seven, ICEMAN at 12, Take Care at 18, Views at 40, Certified Lover Boy at 64, Thank Me Later at 71, Scorpion at 77, For All The Dogs at 88, Nothing Was The Same at 118, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U at 134, and More Life at 148. It's the most simultaneous entries out of any artist right now.

Drizzy previously set the record for most albums on the Billboard 200 simultaneously by a living solo artist, with 12 in May of this year. MAID OF HONOUR was also on that list at the time, but has since exited the chart. It goes to show how great of a year he's been having, whether with his newer material or his classics.

For those curious, Prince holds the record for the most simultaneous albums on the Billboard 200, with 19 in April of 2016 following his passing. The Beatles have the most in this category from a group, with 14.

Drake's Next Record Deal

Elsewhere, rumors are swirling about Drake's next record deal. DJ Akademiks cleared the air on this, walking back his claim that he's about to sign the biggest contract in hip-hop history.

"Pretty much, his deal is up," he said on stream. "Now, I don't know what Drake is going to do. However, it still remains true that would be the biggest deal in hip-hop history if he does resign."

That comment about "resigning" indicates Drake's lawsuit against UMG might not lead to a split after all. Despite the defamation appeal against the label, maybe they will work something out, although that seems very unlikely.

Either way, the 6ix God can rest on his achievements no matter where he takes his career next. Many of these 11 projects will likely stay on the chart even if he retires the mic.
