Nike has added a Dunk Low to its "Mamba Eterno" collection, and it looks very different from the rest. The Nike Kobe Dunk Low Protro "Mamba Eterno" is set to release on October 30th for $130.
The other pairs in the collection go bright orange. This one goes darker and more worn. The upper mixes red and orange woven fabric across the toe, sides, and collar. Distressed black overlays sit on top, with matching Swooshes.
Underneath, the midsole is an aged off-white and the outsole is dark. Together, they give the pair a lived-in feel.
Kobe's gold Sheath logo sits on the tongue, and his signature is stitched on the heel. The insoles are mismatched, with one purple and one green. Both carry gold "Mamba Eterno" lettering.
Nike also includes extra laces in pink, white, and black, so you can switch up the look. Pairs should be available through Nike.com and select retailers. The style code is IQ3922-001.
Overall, it is a fun way to bring the holiday theme to a more street-ready shoe. It is part of a 4-shoe set that also includes an Air Force 1, the Kobe 3 Low Protro, and the Kobe A.D. Protro.
Nike Kobe Dunk Low Protro “Mamba Eterno”
The Kobe Dunk Low Protro has become one of Nike's most interesting Kobe projects. It first arrived in June with the "Draft Day" pair, which cost $145.
Since then, Nike has released a WNBA All-Star pair and an FC Barcelona version. By one count, this is the fifth Kobe Dunk Low Protro on the 2026 calendar.
Día de los Muertos is the theme tying the collection together. The Kobe 3 Low Protro and A.D. Protro use bright orange, while the Dunk Low goes in the opposite direction.
That contrast is a smart choice. Not everyone wants a loud floral print, and the darker Dunk gives fans another route into the collection. Also at $130, it is cheaper than the Kobe 3 Low Protro at $190 and the Kobe A.D. Protro at $155.
