JD Sports teased a new Yeezy drop for October 15th, and reports point to a black slide restock on its website for fans who missed out.

Yeezy is heading back to JD Sports on October 15th, and this time the product is clear. A teaser video from JD Sports US shows the YS-01 Black slide.

The post reads "YZY AT JD 10 15 26." Later in the clip, a close-up of the slide appears with the label "YS-01 Black."

That makes this a restock of the slide that sold out within minutes in August. It cost $44 at the time. Pricing for this drop has not been confirmed.

Reports say the sale starts at 10 a.m. Eastern on JD Sports' website. That is 7 AM Pacific. It is expected to be online only.

Fans have already seen a Yeezy release at JD before. The first Yeezy drop at JD on August 13th sold out in minutes, and the site struggled with all of the traffic. JD later ran a small in-store restock, but many people still missed out. This new drop is another chance for them.

The first launch also included four other styles, the YS-02, BL-01, AQ-01, and HL-02. So far, only the slide has been teased for the 15th. Overall, a restock is a smart move for a brand with this much demand.

Yeezy Slides JD Sports Restock

The JD partnership is a big step for Yeezy. After the adidas split, the brand sold mostly through its own website, and some customers reportedly waited months for their orders.

Selling through a major retailer gives Yeezy a stronger supply chain and a lot more reach. JD has stores across the United States, which makes pickup much easier.

Yeezy also has other projects in the works. The Yeezy 800 High Tactical Boot got a first look earlier this year, and the Yeezy 800 sneaker is expected in December.

If this restock is a success, it could show how the brand plans to operate going forward. Regular drops through JD would be a big change from the old Yeezy model.
