Kanye West gave fans a first look at a high-top boot version of the Yeezy 800, shared on Instagram with no release date yet.

Kanye West gave fans another look at the Yeezy 800 lineup, this time sharing the high-top boot version on Instagram. It's all black and there's also a pull tab at the back and heavy stitching across the whole upper.

This follows the original Yeezy 800 runner, which was just recently loaded on to Yeezy's website, with a December 2026 date. That version leaned into a chunky, retro running look with mesh, leather, and suede mixed together. The boot takes that same rugged energy and stretches it up past the ankle.

No release date yet on the boot specifically. The regular Yeezy 800 sneaker is expected sometime in December. Given how these things tend to go with Ye, the boot is probably lining up for a similar date, but... who knows?

Ye's been busy lately teasing a bunch of new silhouettes at once, boots, sneakers, colorways, you name it. It all comes right as Yeezy gears up for its JD Sports rollout, so there's clearly a bigger plan in motion here even if all the release specifics aren't locked yet.

Yeezy 800 High Tactical Boot

This tactical boot direction isn't totally new territory for Yeezy. Ye's touched on military- inspired silhouettes before, and this one fits right into that same lane, just with a cleaner, more finished look than some of his past boot designs.

The timing lines up with Yeezy's bigger retail comeback. With JD Sports now carrying Yeezys, it's possible pieces like this high-top boot could roll out faster than some of Ye's older teased silhouettes, which have historically taken months to actually hit shelves.

Ye's also been dropping these previews without much warning lately, usually just an IG Story with no context. It's kept fans and sneaker sites scrambling, but it's also just become the norm for how Yeezy operates these days.

For now, this is just a first look. No pricing, no date, nothing official beyond the image itself. But with how much attention every Yeezy gets, more details will leak well before the brand makes it official.
