The all-black Yeezy 800 colorway is now loaded on Yeezy.com, with a release expected sometime this December.

The Yeezy 800's all-black colorway has been loaded onto Yeezy.com, giving fans their clearest confirmation yet that a release is coming. The pair will release in December, per Yeezy.com.

This is the model's first colorway, first revealed by Ye back in early August. Ballistic mesh covers the tongue, paired with textured panels across the toe and heel. Leather-style overlays wrap the eyestays and forefoot.

Also these layers of loose, gauze-like mesh give the upper a deliberately raw, unfinished look. That same rough texture continues onto portions of the midsole.

The Yeezy 800 name brings back the numbered format Ye used throughout his Adidas years, separating it from newer releases like the Yeezy BL-01. It's shaping up to be one of the more significant releases in his independent run so far.

Pricing hasn't been confirmed yet, though the shoe follows Ye's Yeezy BL-01, which launched at $80 before later selling for $108 through JD Sports. Additional pastel colorways have also surfaced, though only the black pair currently appears live on the site.

Yeezy 800

The Yeezy 800 comes at an important moment for the brand. Yeezy recently confirmed a partnership with JD Sports, marking its first major retail presence since parting ways with Adidas.

That shift could streamline how future releases like the 800 reach customers. Ye has teased new silhouettes on social media before, only for them to take months to actually hit shelves. A tighter relationship with a retailer like JD Sports may change that timeline going forward.

Social media users have also pointed out similarities between the 800 and Hi-Tec's Magnum Uniform Service Trainer, a design based on British military training standards. Whether that comparison holds up once the shoe fully releases remains to be seen.

Either way, seeing the pair loaded directly onto Yeezy.com is the strongest signal yet that this release is close. December isn't too far away, and this may be the first real look at how Yeezy handles a full retail rollout on its own.
