Jordan Brand revealed a rare laser-etched Air Jordan 11 for the Space Jam anniversary, and most fans will never get a pair.

Jordan Brand just revealed one of the rarest Air Jordan 11s in years. It is called the "Space Jam Laser," and it is a Friends & Family exclusive.

The pair was shown at the Space Jam event in Los Angeles, where Jordan Brand and Warner Bros. celebrated the movie's 30th anniversary. At first glance, it looks like the classic "Space Jam" 11.

However, the details tell a different story. The black patent leather mudguard is covered in laser-etched artwork. You can see the Monstars, basketball courts, tongue logos, a baseball player, and even a Jumpman soaring through planetary rings.

The rest of the shoe also stays true to the original. Blue Jumpman logos sit on the collar and tongue. A white midsole and a see-through outsole sit underneath. Also a small "30" is stitched into the heel tab.

Overall, it is a very clever twist on a classic. In the photos, the laser work gives the patent leather a wild, almost holographic look under the lights.

Of course, there is a catch. These pairs are only for Warner Bros. executives, Jordan Brand insiders, and Friends & Family. Further, no public release is planned. Finally, one report puts the total at just 30 pairs.

Air Jordan 11 Friends And Family "Space Jam Laser"

The "Space Jam Laser" is part of a much bigger anniversary collection. Jordan Brand has five Air Jordan 11s planned, and the line starts rolling out on November 5th.

The "Magic Ball," a women's pair, arrives on November 11th. The all-green "Green Screen" follows in mid November. The original "Space Jam" returns on December 12th for $235.

As for the Laser version, it is a reminder of how special insider pairs can be. Friends & Family exclusives are never meant for the public. Even so, fans love seeing them.

Photos like this one are probably the closest most of us will get. Overall if a few pairs ever make it to the resale market, expect a wild price tag.
