NBA Ben10's lawyer tried to get him an emergency release due to jail conditions allegedly hindering Ben's ability to get paralysis treatment.

NBA Ben10 has been facing a legal whirlwind amid his case for allegedly robbing AllStar JR in a Houston restaurant earlier this year. This situation allegedly led to AllStar shooting Ben10 and leaving him paralyzed, a condition that, for now, will not impact the court's view of his status behind bars.

According to XXL, on Tuesday (October 6), Judge Drew B. Tipton denied the Never Broke Again affiliate bond, dismissing a motion from Ben's lawyer Dustan Neyland to revoke an order of detention. The attorney had previously alleged horrific jail conditions for NBA Ben10 that prevented him from getting adequate medical care for his paralysis.

The lack of physical therapy means Ben10 is at risk behind bars, according to his lawyer. This was not enough to convince the judge, and the Baton Rouge rapper and influencer will remain in jail before the robbery trial.

The emergency motion from attorney Dustan Neyland mentioned the AllStar JR incident and how it left their client paralyzed. In addition, the emergency motion also mentioned another shooting Ben10 suffered a month after the AllStar situation. The motion brought up wheelchair confinement, the need for assistance for basic matters like hygiene and wound prevention, stem cell therapy, and the Government's alleged inability to provide medical care and physical therapy. It also alleged various other limitations and alleged denials of basic rights, such as access to a phone to talk to family, having visitors, and being handcuffed around the clock.

AllStar JR & NBA Ben10 Shooting

For those unaware, the NBA Ben10 and AllStar JR situation resulted in both men being behind bars for their alleged involvement. Ben10 faces charges of aiding and abetting interference with commerce by robbery and aiding and abetting brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a violent crime.

Prosecutors accused him and others of trying to rob JR back in April, whereas prosecutors are accusing AllStar of shooting Ben and two others. He faces charges of being a person with a felony history in possession of a firearm.

We will see what other updates emerge about this case. For now, it seems like NBA Ben10 will not get the emergency release he requested, and allegedly needs.
