NBA Ben10 was recently arrested for his alleged involvement in the AllStar JR shooting. If you remember, Ben10 was shot during the alleged altercation and is now paralyzed from the waist down. JR was eventually arrested for the shooting and is claiming self-defense ahead of his trial.
Meanwhile, NBA Ben10 has been charged alongside his affiliates and is awaiting his own trial. During this time, the artist has been put in jail, and his lawyer is now trying to secure an emergency release. According to court documents, NBA Ben10 is being subjected to cruel conditions. For instance, he was only given one sandwich during the jail transfer.
Furthermore, his medical needs are allegedly not being met. He reportedly fell over in his wheelchair while trying to get to bed and was not helped up by any of the staff. Moreover, he has allegedly been wearing soiled undergarments. These conditions are inhumane, and it is easy to see why his lawyer would file this kind of emergency motion.
DJ Akademiks, on the other hand, had a much different take about the whole thing.

In the clip above, Akademiks describes the conditions in the jail and uses this as a warning to those engaging in street life. He says this is what potentially awaits those who get caught up in the wrong lifestyle. Ak also noted that his dog currently receives better treatment.
As for this emergency release filing, a decision has not been made at this time. Although the hope is that the conditions will be tightened up, at the very least. While NBA Ben10's release is unlikely right now, an improvement in his conditions would go a long way.
