Amidst drama involving Kai Cenat, Kodak Black has floated the idea of getting into the streaming world on a permanent basis.

Kodak Black has been a consistent voice in rap over the past decade. However, it appears as though he might be contemplating an unexpected career change.

In a recent video posted to social media, Kodak Black could be heard talking about the streaming world. He says people like Adrien Broner have told him to get into the industry. Meanwhile, he believes the recent Kai Cenat drama proves that he needs to get involved ASAP.

It's an interesting revelation, especially when you consider what the streaming world looks like right now. Most of the famous rappers who went over to streaming are on Kick. This includes people like Blueface, who are making upwards of $100K every single week. Given this information, there is no doubt that Kodak Black could also make a living on there.

Kodak Black Would Like To Be A Streamer

Kick and Twitch are direct competitors. However, Kick has prided itself on not banning creators for certain types of conduct. Twitch's affiliation with Amazon has made it much more brand-friendly. Meanwhile, Kick has a reputation for being about drama. There are also some unsavory characters on that platform, which has some feeling as though it is on par with Rumble.

That said, many streamers simulcast. They will stream to both Kick and Twitch at the same time, which opens them up to a broader audience. Although for now, Kodak Black doesn't seem to have any concrete plans when it comes to streaming.

What is clear is that streaming is becoming the alternative revenue stream for artists. At times, it is more stable, and it allows artists to connect with fans directly, while also keeping most of the revenue earned.
