The Air Jordan 14 "Forest Green" is finally coming back after 21 years. Here's a first look at the in-hand photos and what to expect.

The Air Jordan 14 "Forest Green" is officially set to return on October 31st. That's Halloween, but the only scary thing here is how fast these might sell. Further, the pairs retail for $215.

This is the first retro of the colorway since the original release in 2005. That's a 21-year wait, and plenty of fans have been asking for it.

The in-hand photos show a clean, simple build. Also white leather covers the upper, along with the stitching the 14 is known for. Dark green hits the toe, heel, and midsole. A green Jumpman badge sits on the ankle, and a grey tongue ties it all together.

It's a general release in men's and grade school sizing. Expect pairs through Nike SNKRS, Foot Locker, Finish Line, Champs, JD Sports, and other Jordan Brand retailers. The style code is 487471-300.

Nothing about this pair is loud, and that's the appeal. It's a throwback that goes with just about anything. Green and white also fits fall perfectly, so the timing works. For a shoe that hasn't shown up in over 20 years, $215 feels pretty fair.

The Air Jordan 14 holds a special place in the lineup. It was the last shoe Michael Jordan wore as a Chicago Bull, including in the 1998 Finals. Tinker Hatfield drew inspiration from Jordan's love of Ferraris, which explains the air intake vents and the shield-shaped Jumpman badge.

The original "Forest Green" has been tough to find ever since 2005. Pairs of that OG sell for hundreds on resale. A retail release gives a lot more people a shot, though demand will still be strong.

The "Candy Cane" 14 has gotten several retail releases and still holds solid resale. "Forest Green" is a much rarer story, so it could age well if it doesn't get repeated.

The timing is interesting too. Nike's CEO just said Jordan will cut back on retro volume in 2027. A first-ever retro of a 2005 colorway is exactly the kind of release that should earn a spot on a less crowded calendar.
