The Air Jordan 3 "Middle East" drops soon with Arabic 23 detailing, a reworked elephant print, and special packaging.

Jordan Brand is sending the Air Jordan 3 to the Middle East. The new pair is set to release in December 2026 for $215 under style code IX6986-047.

This isn't just a colorway with a regional name slapped on it. The biggest detail is the Arabic "٢٣" on the tongues, which means 23. It's a clean nod to Michael Jordan that doesn't feel forced and obviously one that ties to the market this pair is designed for.

The upper is a light grey leather with brown accents around the heel and toe. A red Jumpman on the tongue adds a small pop of color. A cream midsole and gum outsole keep things warm and earthy.

Jordan also swapped out the usual elephant print. Also these interesting geometric patterns now cover the toe and heel instead. That's the biggest visual change from a standard Air Jordan 3 release.

Nike Air branding sits on the heel, and burgundy laces reportedly come as an extra. Special packaging rounds out the release in an elegant finish.

Also, as for where to find them, this looks like a regional exclusive. Expect Middle Eastern retailers and SNKRS in the region. Anyone outside that market could be in for a tough cop.

Regional exclusives have become a real trend for Jordan Brand this year. The Japan-exclusive Air Jordan 12 "Sumo" landed in August, and this feels like the next chapter. Jordan keeps using its classic models as a canvas for local culture.

The Air Jordan 3 is a smart pick for it. It debuted in 1988 as the first Jordan with a visible Air unit and a Jumpman logo. Tinker Hatfield designed it, and it's still one of the most loved shoes in the lineup.

Dropping the elephant print is a bold move. Purists might be a bit upste, but it keeps this pair from feeling like another reused color block.

Resale is where this pair could get interesting. Regional drops like this tend to climb fast once they leave their market. If this stays Middle East only, expect high resell prices when the pairs inevitably make their way over.
