Nike made just 5 all-white PlayStation 3 Air Force 1s in 2006, and the first images of this unseen grail have finally surfaced.

A brand new PlayStation Air Force 1 just surfaced, and it's not the one you're picturing. Nike made the PlayStation 3 Air Force 1 Low back in 2006 to mark the console launch. Nearly 20 years later, we're finally getting a first look.

Only five pairs exist, and all of them came out of Nike's Innovation Kitchen. That makes this way scarcer than the famous patent leather pair, which was capped at 150.

The shoe itself keeps things clean. White leather covers the whole upper, and the laces match. The one real detail is "PlayStation 3" lasered into the sides of the shoes. It's done in the same sharp font Sony used for the console.

Everything else is pure Air Force 1. You get the Swoosh on both sides and Air branding on the heel. Special PS3 packaging comes along for the ride too.

Don't expect a release, though. Nike hasn't said a word, and five pairs leaves nothing to restock. If one ever hit the resale market, nobody could say what it's worth. There's simply no comp for it.

PlayStation 3 x Nike Air Force 1

Most people know the patent leather version. Nike and Sony handed out 150 numbered pairs to friends and family. Kobe Bryant was the most famous name on that list. Black patent leather, a blue gradient heel, and purple laces made it impossible to miss.

This white pair is the low-key sibling. It shows Nike was playing with more than one idea for the PS3 launch. Even the patent pair changed along the way. Early plans reportedly had red laces before purple took over.

Retro rumors have followed that patent pair for years. The 2025 return never happened. Nike did drop a new PlayStation Air Force 1 at E3 in 2018, but it was a fresh black design.

That's what makes this find so fun. Collectors thought they knew every chapter of this story. Nike apparently still had one sitting in the archive.
