DJ Akademiks has feuds with a few hip-hop media peers, but perhaps none are as fiery and disdainful as his beef with Rory Farrell. Now, things are heating up again on Ak's end, but it's over a different confrontation. After Farrell pressed QueenzFlip during a nightclub event, Akademiks reacted to the tense moment on Twitter, leaving little sympathy for Mal's podcast cohost and even throwing some shade at Flip here and there.
"This pencil-necked dweeb right here was really thinking he on some Godfather, Goodfellas s**t," he ranted while sharing an old clip of Rory dancing. DJ Akademiks TV caught the moment on Instagram. "This n***a right here. Shimmying, winding up his waist, snapping and popping, all that s**t. Chat, I couldn't stand it!"
CY Chels and NBA Hoops caught other livestream highlights on Twitter, whether it was reactions to the confrontation itself or to Rory's apology over the QueenzFlip situation on his podcast with Mal, Demaris, and others. Ak couldn't believe Farrell actually pressed Flip, as DJ Akademiks thought he was Rory's only serious enemy. Still, he said Flip was "punked out" to a degree, but tried to give grace.

As much animosity as Ak showed Farrell in these moments, it seems like he was more impressed with his energy than anything else. He thought the artist and podcaster made the Joe Budden Podcast host look like a "panini" before he tried his "get-back." But later, Akademiks clowned Farrell for the aforementioned dancing clip and joked about bullying QueenzFlip to "slide."
Then, while reacting to Rory's apology, Ak blasted him for portraying a tough image and not taking accountability for affecting the people around him in the moment of the confrontation.
QueenzFlip also responded to Rory, saying the whole moment made him actually have a problem with him. Before, he thought their previous clashes were water under the bridge, but things seem more solidly contentious now.
