FERG is switching things up with his new single, “CYCLE,” and it might be one of the most unexpected records of his career. Rather than leaning into the hard-hitting Harlem sound fans typically associate with him, the rapper goes noticeably left field with a bright, playful track that feels closer to ‘90s pop than traditional FERG. “CYCLE” is fun, upbeat, and intentionally a little quirky, with FERG embracing a much lighter sound than listeners are used to hearing from him.
