Lil Tay is still getting up to bizarre social media stunts, with the latest coming at New York Fashion Week over the weekend.

Lil Tay is someone who has been somewhat famous for about a decade now. However, that fame has come with lots of controversy, and confusion as to who is actually pulling the strings.

Many years ago, Lil Tay went viral as the 13-year-old flexer. She was like a Lil Pump who couldn't rap. All she did was make videos of herself flexing cars and money, all while calling people broke.

Years later, there were allegations that her half-brother was behind her persona. Her parents were also called out for allowing their daughter to continue down this path. In 2023, things became that much more confusing as a death hoax was brought to light. The report suggested both Tay and her brother had died. Of course, this turned out not to be the case.

Music videos and an OnlyFans account later, Lil Tay is still looking for publicity in odd places. For instance, over the weekend, the social media star was tackled by security after crashing a runway show at New York Fashion Week. According to TMZ, this was the Creators Inc. runway.

Creators Inc. CEO Andy Bachman had some conflicting feelings about the whole thing. On one hand, he didn't like to have his show interrupted. On the other, he said that Tay "mogged" everyone in the room.

"I don't condone spoiling months of preparation, but I'll admit that girl mogged the entire room. She should consider a catwalk, preferably with a booking next time," Bachman said.

The mere fact that Bachman would choose this language almost suggests that this was pre-planned, although no one can say for sure. All we do know is that nine years later, the Lil Tay saga endures.
