Kanye West brought out some of his most iconic collaborators during his Chicago homecoming shows this weekend, and it's led to a lot of reflection on his many feuds, hatchet burials, and back-and-forth dynamics. Travis Scott was among the guests who had already mended their bond with Ye before last night's (Friday, September 4) concert, whereas Kid Cudi was among the guests who fans were surprised to see squash their beef. But amid La Flame and many others celebrating Kid Cudi's reunion with Ye, there is one lingering question for longtime G.O.O.D. Music fans. What's going on with Pusha T?
For those unaware, the Clipse MC has been very critical of Ye in recent years, and vice versa. Their relationship broke down not only because of the Chicago artist's bigotries, but also due to differing values, business mindsets, loyalties, and industry dynamics.
This adds another layer to Travis celebrating Kanye's reunions, particularly with his THE SCOTTS partner, Cudi. As caught by Complex Music, the Houston star took to his Instagram Story to praise the two, and Kurrco caught a clip of Scott singing along to "Pursuit Of Happiness" while the KIDS SEE GHOSTS duo was onstage.

The reason why this is an interesting layer is because of Travis Scott's recent beef with Pusha T. Ye admitted he missed his friendship with Pusha last year. But maybe he chose to focus on other friendships instead of rekindling that one.
Also, it's curious to see Kanye West squash beef with Big Sean, another G.O.O.D. Music alum whom the Yeezy mogul had previously disrespected. Whether or not fans think these special guests were in it for the money, don't care about Ye's previous bigotries, or genuinely reached an understanding with him depends on which fan you're talking to. Plenty of them took to Twitter with wild reactions and takes.

The Ye concert also saw other beefs squash, such as Cudi and Lupe Fiasco reuniting a few years after publicly ending their feud. We will see if one day, Pusha and Kanye end up doing the same. Right now, though, it seems very unlikely.
After all, Kanye West has also gone at past friends and collaborators like Playboi Carti, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Tyler, The Creator, and more in recent years. More often than not, these seem to be back-and-forth disagreements that many see a resolution in the future. But with the Chicago shows in context, it seems clear that not every burned bridge will heal, regardless of Kanye's redemption arc, success, or apologies.
