Back in 2025, Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being convicted of two counts of transporting prostitutes across state lines for sex. His initial release date was slated for April of 2028, although that date has changed numerous times over the past few months.
Just about a month ago, Diddy's release date had been reduced all the way down to January of 2028. However, a prison brawl led to his date being pushed back to February 20, 2028.
According to TMZ and the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Diddy has caught yet another break as his sentence has been reduced by another two weeks. Now, it is expected that he will be out of prison by February 5, 2028.
Diddy Gets Two Weeks Shaved Off Sentence
Diddy has been receiving support while in prison. For instance, his son King Combs advocated for his release just a few days ago. At this time, it is unclear what Diddy's plans will be when he eventually comes home.
He only has about 16 more months left in his sentence. If he continues to showcase good behavior, there is a chance that his date could be moved up to late 2027, although there are no guarantees on that front.
Diddy's legal troubles from the past couple of years have been an enduring story in hip-hop. Of course, he is one of the most famous moguls in the history of the culture. When he gets out, the fanfare and the criticism will reach a fever pitch.
His situation remains a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates.
