The Air Jordan 4 "Musik" is getting new jewelry-inspired details ahead of its upcoming January 2027 release.

New mockups are giving fans a closer look at the Air Jordan 4 "Musik" ahead of its January 30, 2027 release. It's priced at $230, releasing in full sizing under style code JA8136-200.

Khaki covers most of the upper, with black hits running through the mesh panels, tongue, and midsole. Gold accents show up across the wing eyelets, Jumpman branding, and studded heel detailing, keeping a jewelry-inspired theme running throughout the build.

The newest images add even more to that look. Gold crown charms now hang from the laces near the ankle. A small chain with a diamond-rimmed Jumpman pendant also sits across the tongue. Both details build onto the gold hardware already shown in earlier leaks, pushing the shoe further into full jewelry territory instead of just hinting at it through color.

On the heel, Roman numerals "II" and "III" replace the usual Jumpman or Nike Air branding. Together, they spell out 23 across both shoes. It's an unusual branding choice for the silhouette, but it fits the shoe's overall theme of going bold instead of staying subtle.

Air Jordan 4 "Musik"

"Musik" pulls its whole concept from the late '90s and early 2000s hip-hop scene. That era was known for oversized fits, diamond grills, and heavy gold chains. Instead of referencing that period through graphics alone, Jordan Brand worked those jewelry motifs directly into the shoe's actual hardware.

Packaging is expected to follow that same idea. Reports suggest the box will feature a baby photo styled after Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III cover, one of the most recognizable images in hip-hop history. That image is said to be swapped out for one resembling a young Michael Jordan instead. This packaging detail is still unconfirmed, but it would tie the shoe's whole concept together nicely.

This marks a different approach for Jordan Brand compared to most of its recent releases. Instead of pulling from basketball history, "Musik" leans fully into music and fashion nostalgia. That gives the Air Jordan 4 one of its boldest storytelling angles yet heading into 2027.
