YNW Melly has returned with "Collect Call II" as the artist remains locked up awaiting his murder retrial.

YNW Melly has been locked up since 2019. He has been behind bars for seven years and still hasn't received a verdict in his double-murder case. A retrial is expected soon, although the legal process hasn't exactly been speedy for the rapper. Regardless, on Friday, he returned with Collect Call II. This nine-track project contains features from the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, King Von, and Fredo Bang. While it is unclear when these songs were recorded, there is no denying that YNW Melly's talent is still there. He had the music world in his hands when he was locked up. It's yet another example of what could have been.
