The Game had a whole host of Los Angeles and West Coast artists on his new album The Documentary 3, in addition to other huge names like Kanye West, Drake, and Black Thought. Among these L.A. guests is (or was...) AZ Chike, although some confusion over his feature on "The Part" and how it temporarily disappeared from platforms like Spotify has led to some controversy with Wack 100.
For those unaware, "The Part" also features YG, Lefty Gunplay, Mike & Keys, JasonMartin, Mark Lux, and RJMrLA. However, at press time, the track does not indicate Chike as a feature on "The Part," at least on Spotify. Curiously, though, it does still feature his vocals, and he's credited as a composer on the song. Apple Music seems to have the original upload intact.
Wack took to social media to post a video, caught by Ahmed/The Ears on Twitter, that accused AZ of taking the song down. The executive theorized this could be because of Chike's feature on GNX by Kendrick Lamar, suggesting he might feel like Game is dissing K.Dot. Another theory some fans have is that the feud between YG and Drakeo The Ruler may have something to do with this as well... If AZ really did take the song down via a request and this isn't just a misunderstanding.
Wack 100 Calls Out AZ Chike
"AZ Chike, AKA 'A** Cheeks,' you just pulled a weird move," Wack 100 expressed. "You had the song with YG and Lefty Gunplay and yourself snatched down off The Documentary 3 album. Aye, bro, I'ma be real. I been told Game to replace you with Mark Lux. He way harder than you anyway. Don't nobody really know who you are... But I think you think you was doing that for the sake of Kendrick. Kendrick don't care who featured on Game's album. I think you thought you was gon' get some brownie points. You was in the studio, you did, like, eight songs. I told Game you was a**, replace you with Mark Lux. I told him. It was just an error. The wrong version got uploaded. The real version will be up in a minute.
"Y'all stay tuned," he concluded. It's unclear if this "real version" is the one that's now up on streaming services.
