Ebro was on "Rap Life Review" where he offered a take on Tyga that has the internet in a complete and utter state of shock.

Tyga has become a hot topic of debate as of late after his AI-assisted album $TARFACE was a flop of epic proportions. In its first week, it failed to chart while selling around 2K units. Furthermore, Pitchfork gave it a 0/10, and Anthony Fantano gave it his first-ever "Not Music."

However, Ebro Darden isn't as low on Tyga as everyone else seems to be. During a recent episode of Rap Life Review, it was joked that Tyga is on Ebro's West Coast Mount Rushmore. Ebro then defended his take, stating that Tyga has had a super smash hit every year for over a decade.

“I wanna say Tyga for the last 10 to 15 years has had a super smash hit every year," Ebro said.

Ebro Is A Big Tyga Fan

This is a hot take that can immediately be dismissed as not factual. One Google Search is all it takes to realize that Tyga has not, in fact, had a smash hit every single year for 15 years.

Sure, "Taste" was a big song in 2018, but that's eight years ago. Meanwhile, "Juicy" is more of a Doja Cat song than anything else.

Regardless of the facts, fans on social media offered some strong reactions to what Ebro had to say. For the most part, users on X were simply incredulous at the former Hot97 host's take.

Social Media Responds

Below, you can find numerous reactions to the clip. Journalist Andre Gee had a humorous comment about the whole thing, saying, "This is the kind of thing where he should have to apologize & issue a correction next episode cause what the hell is he talking about."

Ebro has opined about "algorithm hustlers" over the last few months, although this seems like a case of him doing the same thing. If his goal was to get a rise out of viewers, then he was successful.
