The Black Soprano Family MC matches this energy with confrontational, confident, and blunt lyricism adding to a powerful presence on the mic. It also helps that he trades bars with fellow lyrical assassins, including Benny The Butcher, Che Noir, Estee Nack, Lo Profile, Sule, and The Hoodes. Beat-wise, there's a lot of eerie, dusty, menacing atmosphere to parse through, with icy drums, creeping pianos, and wistful samples defining much of the instrumental background. The Fix 2 overwhelms with its venom, but there are plenty of highlights within.
