Ray Daniels Goes Off On Charlamagne Tha God After Receiving "Donkey Of The Day" For Jay-Z Album Report

Ray Daniels found himself in the crosshairs of Roc Nation earlier this week as he made the claim that Jay-Z's album was done. Furthermore, Daniels went on to say that the project would be released once Hov found partnership dollars.

This subsequently led to a strong response from Roc Nation, who took to social media to say that no such album is finished. Some on social media felt as though Roc Nation was trying to control a narrative. Others felt as though Daniels was looking for clicks.

Meanwhile, Charlamagne Tha God came through and named Ray Daniels "Donkey Of The Day." It is an exceptionally harsh title to give Daniels when you consider what he did "wrong."

With Charlamagne being accused of being a proxy for Hov and Roc Nation, Daniels was not going to let himself just get called "Donkey Of The Day" with no pushback. As you will hear on his podcast, he made sure to give a strong response to The Breakfast Club's star radio personality.

Daniels noted that a while back, Charlamagne Tha God called him to check him about some comments that he made about Jay-Z. At the time, Daniels asked the radio host if he was working with Hov. Charlamagne Tha God said no, and that they were just friends.

Subsequently, it was revealed three days later that Charlamagne really was working with Jay-Z. Therefore, Daniels believes Charlamagne is wearing the jersey for Roc Nation and simply wants to put on a good show for his boss. Simply put, he feels like Charlamagne will stop at nothing to defend Jay-Z, regardless of the situation.

Jay-Z's 2026 comeback has been incredible to witness, although these kinds of things certainly lower the hype. Fans just want the music. Hopefully, it is coming soon.
