Roc Nation previously called cap on Ray Daniels' claims surrounding a new Jay-Z album.

Is a new Hov album on the way? No one really knows, but the rumors have suggested that there is one coming soon. And considering the recent string of shows celebrating the key anniversaries of Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint, there’s no better time to drop some new music on everyone’s head top.

However, Roc Nation denied that an album was completed after Ray Daniels said that Hov is looking for someone to partner with before releasing the project. Even so, Daniels is now doubling down on the rumors he’s heard.

“I used to work at Roc Nation for three years. I know most of the employees on the label side. They my friends and everything. I didn’t get this information from none of them. I got this information from somebody that, honestly, the way they told me, it’s like they wanted me to say it,” he said. “I said it like a fan.”

Daniels said that he emphasized the “might” when he presented the information because his source said, “the album done but you might not get it unless he finds a partner.”

“To me, it was like, you better hype that sh*t up for him,” he said, adding that he felt this could help accelerate the process and the demand for the project. More importantly, he felt that the fact Roc Nation even responded to him indicated that he wasn’t wrong in the first place.

Ray Daniels Stands On Business

Daniels said that he’s standing ten toes on that statement since his own source has since told him that the album is actually complete.

“I know more about what’s happening from my channels than the person that runs the digital page for Roc Nation,” he said. “[They do] what they’re told. ‘Say it’s this’ and they’ll say it.”

Hopefully, Ray Daniels proves Roc Nation wrong and we get a new album by the end of the year. Check the clip out below.
