Drake has been criticized over the years for his relationships with women. Some look at his age and believe that he should have settled down by now. Others believe he is simply too cynical about past experiences.
In recent years, the artist has been known to give away money to various women, even those he doesn't know all that well. This has led to people calling him a "Trick." Someone who gives money to women in hopes that they sleep with him.
During his most recent live stream, Drake responded to the term. As you will read, he finds it to be offensive. He sees it as something negative, and he doesn't believe what he does even fits the definition.
“Tricking has a negative connotation to it," Drake said. "It’s like you’re doing something for something in exchange.”
Drake Is Not Fond Of The Word "Tricking"
Drake then went on to say that he likes giving away money because it is something that benefits other people. He finds it nice to make others feel good, and that's pretty much all there is to it.
“It’s just nice to make somebody else feel good," Drake continued.
Following his recent live stream, Drake has been subjected to quite a bit of critique and backlash. Overall, this is due to the fact that some feel he's too old for the whole 20v1 thing. Others just find this to be a corny look for a guy who is so revered as a songwriter.
If one thing is for certain, it is that Drake fans love their guy. A 20v1 on Kick won't change that.
