Charleston White had defended Claressa Shields and Papoose by claiming people don't criticize Latto and 21 Savage's relationship the same way.

Charleston White is often going viral for one reason or the other, but it's not common for celebrities bigger than him to clap back as hard as Latto did. For those unaware, he had defended general criticism against Claressa Shields and Papoose by claiming folks don't criticize 21 Savage and Big Mama's relationship as much.

White's main point was how Pap's marriage and divorce situation with Remy Ma is a matter that means Shields should not be dating him. He brought up how there are similar rumors about Savage's alleged marriage to Keyanna Joseph, claiming the Atlanta femcee's lighter skin is what gives her a pass in comparison to Claressa.

Latto clapped back at Charleston White quick, denying his claims of 21's marriage and urging him to respect her. The social media personality's response via a new Instagram post, as caught by Hollywood Unlocked on IG, lightly apologizes to her while flaunting how he's able to rile people up.

"All I can say is, Lil Durk used to be The Voice. I'm the voice now," he remarked. "When you got Latto responding... 'Unc, you got Latto responding to you.' Everybody responds to me when I say something. I can't talk and you not listen. When I speak, everybody listens. I control the algorithm. And I just needed to get Claressa Shields in the algorithm so we can talk colorism. Once again, Unc checkmate. It's called provoking thought and evoking emotions. You can never beat me because I'm the master of it."

Charleston White's Response To Latto

"Chekmate @latto Unc is officially 'THE VOICE' of the Algorithm," Charleston White captioned his post. "My only intention was to defend Claressa Shields by shifting the conversation and changing the narrative about The Gwoat!!!! I meant no harm to you Big Mama!! WHEN I SPEAK, EVERYBODY LISTENS!!!!"

For those unaware, 21 Savage seemingly evoked Charleston White's Latto comments via an Instagram Story post calling her his "wifey." Previously, Latto denied that 21 Savage was married, and it seems like Keyanna Joseph, the mother of Savage's sons, is on great terms with both MCs. But we'll see how fans' debates evolve.

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Gabriel treasures the crossover between his native reggaetón and hip-hop news coverage, such as his review for Bad Bunny’s hometown concert in 2024. But more specifically, he digs for the deeper side of hip-hop conversations, whether that’s the “death” of the genre in 2023, the lyrical and parasocial intricacies of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle, or the many moving parts of the Young Thug and YSL RICO case. Beyond engaging and breaking news coverage, Gabriel makes the most out of his concert obsessions, reviewing and recapping festivals like Rolling Loud Miami and Camp Flog Gnaw. He’s also developed a strong editorial voice through album reviews, think-pieces, and interviews with some of the genre’s brightest upstarts and most enduring obscured gems like Homeboy Sandman, Bktherula, Bas, and Devin Malik.
