Last month, YNW Melly was surprisingly arrested under suspicion of murdering his two friends in the fall and staging it as a drive-by. In disturbing new details released last week, it is said that the rapper allegedly drove around with the dead bodies in his car before bringing them to the hospital. Melly maintains the position that he's being set up by the justice system but he's never actually denied the allegations. According to XXL, YNW Melly entered a not guilty plea in court today.
Both YNW Melly and YNW Bortlen are facing first-degree murder charges for the deaths of YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy. There has reportedly been evidence found that debunks the claims that the two men were shot in a drive-by, leaving the police to believe that Bortlen and Melly are responsible. Detectives reportedly believe that Melly was the gunman. Bortlen is scheduled for his arraignment today as well.
