After sharing his spacey new single "Plug Walk," earlier this week, Rich The Kid stopped by Big Boy's neighborhood to spit some authentically off-the-dome bars. How do you ensure that your guest isn't rapping a written? Present them with surprise cue cards. How do you convince a rapper to actually go along with this concept? Offer to freestyle yourself! This is at least ho Big Boy gets it done, going back and forth with Rich with some bars of his own. Their styles are drastically different to say the least. Check out the hilarious video below.
Rich is getting ready to drop his debut album, which he's scored some enviable features for. Last we heard, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Khalid, Playboi Carti, Chris Brown, and Tory Lanez were all slated to appear on the project, which is currently without a release date. On top of the album, he'll be putting out his Rich Forever 4 compilation in the near future, which is set to feature both Jeezy and Pusha T.
In an interview with Zane Lowe last September, Rich recalled how the Kendrick Lamar-assisted "New Freezer," the lead single from his forthcoming album, came together. "I was in the studio recording over at the Interscope studios," said Rich. "Kendrick Lamar came in... He asked me to play some music for him..I played two records. I had just recorded "New Freezer" recently... Right when he heard it, he's like 'yo, who else on this song?!'... 'Yo I gotta get on this one, this shit dumb! ... It was shocking to hear Kendrick on a song with me it's like 'whoa, is this real?' It feels like magic, like it was meant to be."
