If you thought the Kanye West craze would die down after a week, you were extremely wrong. The Life of Pablo is still very much a trending topic, no matter how sick you are of reports on it (and equally, we're getting a bit tired of the constant updates of will it/won't it come out). There's still ample amounts of confusion as to whether or not the album will receive a physical release, let alone a release outside of TIDAL. Kanye's recent outpouring on twitter is another reason he's staying in the news, and keeping us on our toes. We didn't have any major album releases this week, although Yo Gotti and Young Dolph came through with their respective albums today, perhaps most people are waiting for the Kanye effect to wear off. Still, we received a fair share of songs, giving us more than enough to choose from for our Staff Picks playlist.
