Roc Nation signee J. Cole and Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kendrick Lamar are set to team up for an as-yet-untitled collaborative mixtape. XXLMag.com spoke to Lamar, who’s been busy in the studio working with Dr. Dre on Detox, to find out more details on the joint disc.

Compton, California's Kendrick Lamar was recently featured in this Windows Phone commercial talking about his creative process, his travels and more. The Section 80 emcee and Nosaj Thing linked up for a collaborative effort and brought Windows cameras along for the work.

The West Coast veteran says that he'll be working with the two artists shortly.



Dr. Dre is reportedly close to being finished with Detox, with plans to focus on other artists once he’s finished. Speaking with Global Grind (via HHNM) at the launch of Diddy and Jimmy Iovine’s Culo by Mazzucco, he discussed focusing on Kendrick Lamar and Slim The Mobster, who will be the “final two artists” he will work with over the next few years.
