"Blood Pressure" arrives June 22.

Well look what we have here. You may not remember, but back in 2016 Philly veteran Freeway quietly announced on the BET red carpet that he had a new single with Lil Wayne on the way called “Blood Pressure,” but unfortunately it never saw the light of day like we expected. Having forgotten all about it as time went on, it looks like we’re finally going to get to hear it soon.

A couple days ago, a clip surfaced online of Lil Wayne in the studio previewing his verse on the record. Weezy can be heard spelling out his rhymes on his verse, spitting, “No L-I-E, I’m L-I-T/ Im the Y-M-E, K-I-N-G/ B-L-O-O-D-I-N-G, Im O-U-T- H-ER-E.”

While there was no release date at the time this clip surfaced, Freeway reassured fans that the single is indeed finally on the way. Replying to a fan named Raúl on Instagram yesterday, who asked “when Blood Pressure song w Tunechi komin my g?” the Philadelphia rapper responded with June 22nd, which is three weeks from this Friday.

The single itself will see life on Freeway’s forthcoming Think Free album, which is currently being led by the single "All The Way Live."
