If you're looking for the man who is arguably the unsung MVP of the hip-hop game right now, look no further than Offset. Be it through his work with Quavo and Takeoff as part of the rap trio Migos or through his solo feature work with the likes of Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, Amine and what seems like hundreds more, the ATL emcee is flying high at the moment. However, that recent success doesn't mean he's going to rest on his laurels either. In a brand new video clip that has been circulating on social media, Offset previewed some new music for his fans and, at first listen, it sounds like there's straight fire on the way from him.

Featuring some flex-heavy lyrics, Offset's new track sounds, in terms of what we can gather from the footage shown above, like a track that exemplifies what he does best. Using a speedy, confident delivery over a bass-heavy trap beat, the rapper floats over the instrumental with effortless control, never seeming out of step with either the track or even with his own flow, which always seems like he's on the verge of outpacing the record itself.

There's no indication whether or not his Migos group mates or anyone else will be featured on the track and do some of the heavy lifting where the vocals are concerned, but even if that answer's no, that's not a bad thing either. For Offset, the timing is right to branch out and take the reigns of a project that will focus on his presence and command of the microphone as a solo performer, without playing second fiddle to another emcee. Seen as one of the driving forces behind the Quality Control sound that Migos have helped popularized on a global level, the future Mr. Cardi B seems primed for a breakout effort and this song could be exactly what he's looking for.
