Guap Tarantino, a signee under Future's Freebandz movement, has made the most of his tenure, enough to align himself with Canadian producer-rapper NAV, fresh off his Reckless LP which garnered mixed reviews in the month of May. This new cross-venture titled 1 Night is as dour a mood as you'd expect from a project associated with a constituent of XO records.
Jacob ATL, the producer that graces all five songs on the EP, has long been associated with other Freebandz signees such as Young Scooter. He's lent his name to some of Future's output, songs in Lil Durk's catalog, and some of BlocBoy JB's entry material, just to name a few.
NAV's running mate Guap Tarantino may be a relative unknown to the average consumer, and perhaps a bit generic too, but he does own a distinct voice to all his own, resembling a young person on the verge of cracking a deep register. Listen to 1 Night with NAV and hit us with your thoughts.
