Mac Miller's "Swimming" Album Hits No. 1 On Apple Music Charts

Mac Miller's final studio album climbs the charts.

In the days following the tragic passing of Mac Miller, listeners far and wide have naturally been flocking to the late rapper’s catalog, and his final album Swimming has received a considerable boost, hitting No. 1 on the Apple Music charts a result, topping Eminem’s Kamikaze and Travis Scott’s AstroWorld, which host No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

In addition, Mac currently occupies all top 5 music videos on Apple Music with his Ariana Grande “The Way" collaboration sitting at No.1.

When it was released last month, Swimming debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 200 charts, giving the Pittsburgh rapper his fifth consecutive top-five album in the United States.

Since his passing due to a drug overdose, the outpouring of tributes to the 26-year old have not stopped with the likes of Childish Gambino, Drake, and even Sir Elton John dedicating shows and performances to the rapper, born Malcolm McCormick.

“I'd like to dedicate this song to Mac Miller," John recently a crowd at the while performing “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” at the Pennsylvania stop of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. "Unbelievably, 26 years of age, and passed away yesterday. It's inconceivable that someone so young, and with so much talent, could do that. And I just would like to pass all of our love and best wishes to his loved ones, his family, his friends. And, Mac, wherever you are, I hope you're happy now."
